My only problem with them is they are heavy...real heavy.<br />Eggbeaters are pretty tight when new, and hopefully the new design will maintain that snugness. The old design would get sloppy after a couple of years.CB2https://www.blogger.com/profile/01024419369112347720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-797640338738289530.post-62248106800633004722010-07-23T10:06:26.923-04:002010-07-23T10:06:26.923-04:00How tight are the springs on the eggbeaters? This alone has kept me from trying the eggbeaters. Atacs lock tight but are expensive as shit for a pedal that lasts like 3 months....Rigidnsinglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11017828086991100657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-797640338738289530.post-89958738335697328142010-07-23T09:03:44.173-04:002010-07-23T09:03:44.173-04:00I seems like I'm the only one who reallyhas ha...I seems like I'm the only one who reallyhas had very little problems with Egg beaters...SL's anywaysTodd H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03700247857333156498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-797640338738289530.post-1205505161294505782010-07-22T18:59:18.787-04:002010-07-22T18:59:18.787-04:00MMcG, Absolutely not!

I swore off Shimano due to their poor performance in the snow, and non-releasing when the cleats were worn, but that was 16 years ago.CB2https://www.blogger.com/profile/01024419369112347720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-797640338738289530.post-35088148498823075432010-07-22T16:13:52.504-04:002010-07-22T16:13:52.504-04:00I avoided the Eggbeaters for the bushing bearings ...I avoided the Eggbeaters for the bushing bearings alone. Why throw a few percent of your power away in cheap pedal design? We'll have to see how the new design holds up.Hill Junkiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01901432169252097296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-797640338738289530.post-33094657698672819332010-07-22T16:00:25.502-04:002010-07-22T16:00:25.502-04:00Can I have your Atacs? ;)Can I have your Atacs? ;)MMcGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07802335947993128088noreply@blogger.com
